ARCADIA, Ohio (Indiana's NewCenter) - A huge fireball that could be seen for up to 15 miles erupted following a train derailed in Hancock County, Ohio early Sunday morning.

The accident prompted evacuations of the rural area Northeast of Findlay, Ohio."It was just a boom. I've seen on TV where places have burned and cylinders explode, that's what it sounded like, just a boom. And then a great big ball of fire up in the air," recalled one Arcadia Resident.

According to Norfolk Southern Director of Public Relations Rudy Husband, two workers were on the train at the time.No employees or neighbors were hurt.

Arcadia Fire Chief believes about 18 tankers cars derailed and caught fire.
The train which originated in Chicago and passed through Fort Wayne had 60 cars, all carrying ethanol.
